Conference Center

The Humphrey Conference Center

The Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs Conference Center is a unique event and conference center located on the West Bank of the University of Minnesota. The Conference Center hosts a full calendar of public affairs programing, as well as being the conference center of choice for many University of Minnesota departments and programs.

NEW: The Conference Center can now provide technical support for events at any venue on or off campus. The Conference Center's public spaces offer a variety of room sizes and amenities from Cowles Auditorium and the adjacent sky-lit atrium to the newly renovated Roy Wilkins Room. Most rooms are equipped with tables, upholstered rolling chairs, flipchart easel, overhead projector, screen, and whiteboard.

Technical support

Conference Center staff will assist with your event by providing recommendations for catering (you may select your own caterer), table/chair rentals, florals, technical support, and language interpreters.

The Conference Center is handicapped accessible and meets ADA requirements.
