| The Humphrey Institute offers a variety of professional development
programs for legislators, legislative staff, and mid-career professionals.
Our International
Fellowship Programs bring young and mid-career leaders from
around the world to the Humphrey Institute for academic study,
related professional experience, and cultural exchange.
The Policy
Fellows program prepares a new generation of women and men
to assume the responsibilities of leadership and encourages their
participation and effective involvement in public affairs. Fellows
participate in monthly policy seminars, attend Humphrey Institute
Policy Forum conferences, take a study trip to Washington, D.C.,
and complete a group project. The program begins in September
and concludes in June.

 | Institute personnel also work with nonprofit organizations and public sector partners to design custom executive development programs for emerging leaders, mid-career government officials, and public policy professionals. These programs are designed to broaden the perspectives of public policy practitioners, teach them new tools in policy analysis, and improve their leadership and management skills. |
